If you’re looking for an ingenious way to cool off when the temperature rises on your holidays in Egypt, try visiting one of the busiest wreck dive sites in the world - the Thistlegorm in Sharm el Sheikh. Attracting a plethora of marine life from barracuda and jacks to grouper and soldier fish, this 400ft British armed Merchant Navy ship is sat on the rich seabed in the Straits of Guba.
Turkey holidays are the perfect opportunity to combine diving along with your other beach break activities. You’ll have plenty of chance to get out there and explore if you head to Bodrum on the south east coast, as the diving season runs from April to November there. You can feast your eyes upon everything, from reefs to wrecks, and you’ll see an array of underwater life including octopus and stingray to morays and sea bream.
