Now Australia wants some more skilled jobs to come into their nation, no longer will those that are just getting into the country for “simple” jobs be allowed to do so. The more skilled and professional jobs including IT technicians and emergency staff are being requested. However this is also the country that was on a shortage of “hairdressers and cooks”.

What kind of country invites all kinds of immigrants in because they have a shortage of cooks and hairdressers? The applications for these jobs in Australia from outside students went right through the roof, over ten thousand. Now they have removed them from the list of occupational skills and will not be accepting any more people from even educational background.

This is however deviating a little from the main point, but does come back to the main extract, do we really know anyone who has moved to a country that they have never travelled to before! For some people it may just come down to how bad things are at your current surroundings, then you may just feel like taking a risk. Well one man has done that, and now he regrets it.

Interestingly enough after going through a divorce, a doctor has decided to take this plunge. Having never been to Australia before, he still believed that travelling thousands of miles to get away from home was the best idea! Well things didn’t progress as expected. Australia did not really warm up to him all that much and he didn’t miss his wife, so he was stuck in a bit of a rut. They had even just had one of the hottest summers in their history, and our doctor friend just so happens to prefer the cold.

It is probably not the best idea to leave your last job on a bad and out of tune note, in fact this would really cause things to go really bad, returning wouldn’t be much of an option. He is still in Australia, stuck where he arrived, attempting to change his current destination, but not to come back to the UK. Oh dear, maybe before he moved away he should have tried Australia holidays or maybe he should have just taken a day trip on Sydney holidays!
