As we know we are in the middle of a full blown all out credit crisis, thousands and thousands of people are losing there jobs yet still people are planning their family holidays and thinking about there summer holiday.

As we already know most British citizens are cancelling travel abroad this year due to the financial downfall and the fall of strength that the sterling carries. So besides from British citizens staying in the UK could 2009 see an increase in visitors from other countries coming over?

In my personal opinion I think the credit crunch is going to have a major positive effect on the UK economy and maybe bring it back to life. I have always persisted that the credit crunch is here to clean up the market.

But during the summer months I think a lot of tourists will want to visit Britain, it is the best time for anyone from any European country to visit because the Euro carries so much weight against the pound and I think that has been the down fall of the country as a whole.

No one wanted to visit the UK simply because it’s just too expensive; we have great attractions here such as museums and theme parks which will keep any one entertained but they have just been way to pricey. If the UK employed the Euro in the first place maybe the economy would not have suffered.

Even people from the UK used to go and spend there hard earned money in another country pushing up economies such as Turkey and Spain. Things are looking a lot different now and if the UK just had a bit of sun it would be the best place to spend your UK family holidays
